FAQ

With 1TB of myQNAPcloud One, you get a shared storage pool that can be dynamically used by both myQNAPcloud Storage and myQNAPcloud Object. For example, you might primarily use 500GB for myQNAPcloud Storage and the rest for myQNAPcloud Object—depending on your actual usage and preferences.

No, they are separate and independent services. Data stored in myQNAPcloud Object (accessed via S3 API or object.myqnapcloud.com) cannot be accessed from myQNAPcloud Storage, which is only available through myQNAPcloud Portal or Qfile Pro. In Hybrid Backup Sync (HBS) and HybridMount, they are listed as distinct cloud providers.

Downgrades are not supported. To reduce capacity, you must cancel your current plan and purchase a new one. While the previous plan is active, your storage will combine both plans. For instance, canceling a 10TB plan with 2 months left and buying 5TB will give you 15TB until the 10TB expires.
(Reminder: Before reducing your plan capacity, please ensure your myQNAPcloud One usage does not exceed the new plan’s limit. It is also recommended to back up your data in advance to avoid potential data loss.)

Yes, you can cancel at any time and can continue using the service until the end of the subscription period. Refunds are not provided.
(Reminder: You should back up your data from myQNAPcloud One before canceling the subscription.)

Each QNAP ID (QID) can have only one subscription plan and associated cloud space in each region and the storage space cannot be divided.

After your myQNAPcloud One subscription expires and subscription is not renewed, you will receive a reminder email. A 30-day grace period will be granted after the cloud space expires, during which you can transfer files in the myQNAPcloud One to another storage solution.

After the 30-day grace period, if the user has not renewed their subscription, they will receive another reminder email. At this point, the cloud space will switch to Limited Access mode, where the user can only download and delete files. Limited Access mode has a 60-day limit, allowing users to download important files to other storage spaces.

Within the 60-day period of Limited Access mode, if the user still hasn't subscribed to a plan with sufficient space, QNAP will send a final notification email 48 hours before the end of the 60-day period. After the 48 hours from the notification email (i.e., at the end of the 60 days), the data in the cloud space will be deleted until the amount of data is less than or equal to the remaining cloud capacity of the user

You can view the subscription expiration date in the License Manager or Software Store.
